Hammer Head--This beast of a putter is our newest design in our Timber Line of putters. While the scoops on our Timber Hawk and Timber Rattler have been described by users as the easiest scoops they have ever used, this scoop is even smoother. It functions similarly to the way a claw hammer pulls up a nail. The weight of this putter is a full 70 grams heavier than our other putters enhancing that pendulum-like putting stroke we all long for. Handmade from some of nature's finest hardwoods, the Watts Hammer Head putter, as always featuring 1600's technology, delivers the same signature buttery smooth roll of our other Watts putters with an even larger sweet spot. If you've tried our other putters, you know just how impossible this is, but you'll just have to try it for yourself to believe it.

The Timber Line way--The designers here at Watts Putters believe in challenging established norms. Our putters are taller than most putters which raises the center of gravity up to the point of impact. The wooden construction of the putter delivers a very distinct satisfying "click" unlike anything you've ever felt with your metal or plastic putter faces. Our precision weighting system provides a perfectly face-balanced design. The result is an unnaturally large sweet spot making the Watts Timber Line of putters some of the most forgiving putters that money can buy.

Easy Alignment--The high-contrast alignment line located precisely in the center of our generous sweet spot helps you get the ball rolling on the proper line every time.

Massive Sweet Spot--The point of a wider sweet spot is to ensure that your miss hits miss by less than they used to. Through scientific research, we have discovered that our sweet spot is nearly twice the size of that on a brand new Scotty Cameron blade putter. In our tests, the worst miss by the average high handicapper (3/4" off the sweet spot) on a twenty foot putt came up only twelve inches short of the hole with the cousin of the Hammer Head, the Timber Wolf putter. The same poorly struck putt missed by nearly three feet short when stroked by the Scotty Cameron.

Unbelievable Durability--The woods we use are some of the hardest and toughest on Earth. We then cover those woods with a revolutionary product designed for use in bar tops and restaurant tables.  This non-toxic finish is loaded with UV inhibitors and made to be waterproof and able to avoid those pesky scuff marks from everyday use. This finish coupled with our incredible leather head covers will protect your favorite club in your golf bag for years and years to come.

Gimmick Free--We don't see the need to market our Timber Line of putters with inserts made of space age materials or "high Tech" textures precision milled by robots. Our technology is 400 years old and our putter faces are perfectly flat and sanded by hand with the same 220 grit sandpaper you can find at your local hardware store. Our designs are sleek, simple, and effective.

Great Feel and Stability

I already own another Watts Putter. This one has an even better feel. They are not something to be displayed like many wood putters, they are the real deal.
